The acting Secretary National Universities commission Mr Chris Jebreeil Mayiaki has commended the role Nigeria’s Premier Private University Igbinedion University okada has played in promoting private University Education in Nigeria.

He gave the commendation during the twenty second convocation ceremony of the institution and commended the chancellor and founder His Excellency the Esama of Benin Sir Chief Dr Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion for pioneering role in Private University Education in the country.

Efosa Uwangue reports that a UK based consultant gynaecologist Theresa Freeman Was also honoured by the prestigious premier private institution with an honorary doctorate degree.
