Medical graduates of the College of Medicine, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, staged a protest on Thursday to express their dissatisfaction over the delay in their induction, despite completing their final examinations in August 2024.
Edo Central Correspondent, Chris Omijie, reports that the protest caused significant disruption as the graduates blocked the entrance to the university’s administrative block, leaving workers stranded for hours.
The protesters demanded immediate action from the university authorities, citing the importance of the induction ceremony for their professional careers. They called on relevant stakeholders to intervene and resolve the issue promptly to enable them to begin their medical practice.
