The Abia State Police High Command has encouraged Community Leaders and other stakeholders to work harmoniously with the Police to tackle worsening insecurity across the State.
The Police Commissioner of the State, Mr. Danladi Isa, made the appeal at a stakeholders meeting with leaders of the various communities.
Mr. Danladi Isa said that with the cooperation of the people, useful information that will lead to the whereabouts of criminals will easily be accessed.
He thanked their cooperation so far and asked for sustenance.
The high Police Command listed its achievements in eradication of crimes in the state but noted that there is much to be done, adding it was the reason they are asking hands to be on deck.
