The Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools ASUSS Edo State Chapter has congratulated the new Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, and his Deputy Mr. Denis Idahosa on their successful inauguration after the September Twenty-First victory at the polls.
In a congratulatory message by the public relations officer of the association, Mr Ighodaro Kingsley describes the inauguration as a significant milestone that marks the beginning of a new era in the leadership and governance of our beloved state.
The statement says the election is a testament to the trust and confidence that the people of Edo State have placed in the vision and leadership of the Governor and his Deputy adding that as they embark on the journey to steer the affairs of the state, they urge them to remain steadfast in their commitment to fulfilling the promises made during your election campaign.
The Association observed that the challenges ahead are substantial, but enjoined the Governor and his Deputy to see the task as an opportunity to make a lasting impact and consider the plight of the citizens, especially in these challenging economic times, and prioritize policies and programs that will improve their quality of life.
ASSUS expresses the confidence that with the dedication and leadership of the new Leadership, Edo State will experience unprecedented growth and development and prayed to God that the tenure be marked by transparency, accountability, and a relentless pursuit of the common good.
