Uhunmwonde Local Government Council has commenced demolition of illegal structures and shanties erected for business and other purposes by some unauthorised persons under the bypass on the Benin-Auchi road.
The exercise was supervised by the acting Chairman, Benjamin Osa-Iredia in company with security agents and members of the taskforce on environment followed months of abatement notices to relocate from the government property.
