The Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo has disclosed that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission will prosecute some of the recently impeached Local Government chairmen indicted for alleged looting of the Local Government treasuries, running into over ninety billion naira.
Governor Okpebholo made this revelation when he received the report of the Administrative Panel of Enquiry set up on 17th December, 2024 to investigate the financial dealings of the impeached 18 Local Government Chairmen between 4th September, 2023 and November, 2024.
