The Edo State chapter of the National Butchers Employers Union of Nigeria has strongly denied allegations of illegal extortion and the death of cattle, which were leveled against the National President Comrade Sunny Omokharo.

These alleged accusations originated from some union members led by Ehidiamen Odigie and were publicized by a media organization in Benin City.
