The Odionwere and elders of Ogunmwenyin Community, Ovia North East Local Government Area, Edo State have cried out over activities of one Prince Moses Okoro, who is claiming to be an Enogie and has resurfaced at Ogunwenyin community.
The Odionwere and elders of Ogunmwenyin in a statement, alleged that Prince Okoro accompanied with thugs, is selling the community land and threatening the community members, the Odionwere and the elders of overthrowing the Odionwere.
The statement warns the general public to stop any transaction with Prince Okoro or any other person or group of persons on issues relating to land in Ogunmwenyin Community, as such dealing or transaction will be at their own risk.
The elders appealed to the Palace of the Oba of Benin to intervene in the matter.
In a swift reaction, Prince Moses Okoro denied the allegations, saying it is aimed at dragging his name in the mud as he is based outside the country and therefore cannot be involved in land speculation.
