The leadership of the Benin Solidarity Movement BSM Worldwide has been drawn to the undue negative influence of some persons to use the instrumentality of the legislative arm of Government the Edo State House of Assembly against the Enogie of Ologbo Dukedom in particular.
In a statement signed by President Curtis Ugbo and Secretary Esohe Adun of BSM Worldwide said the committee inaugurated by the state House of Assembly and chaired by
Chief Osaro Idah, co-chaired by Hon. Andrew Edobor Uzamere is an alleged ploy to use the Edo State House of Assembly Speaker to constitute an illegal Ologbo Public Relations Committee against the rightful Committee already set up by the Enogie (Duke) of Ologbo Dukedom.
The statement further said that it should be known that the House of Assembly does not have such rights over any community in Benin.
The leadership of BSM worldwide said the group do not know the interests of the chairmen of the Committee who are Chief Osaro Idah, Chief Isaac Oyeoba, Chief Andrew Edobor Uzamere and other members in Ologbo Dukedom.
He said such development is an attempt to undermine the authority of the Enogie of the Dukedom.
