Elders of Ikoro Community, Olodiama clan, Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State, have Placed an embargo on the sale of land in the Community and informed the general public that there is no longer sale of land in the Community, Henceforth.
In a statement jointly signed by the Amaokosuwei of Ikoro, Chief Bright Owu, the Chairman Ikoro Elders Council, Chief Paul Atite, and some Elders of the community, Chief John Oghoroju, Chief Emmanuel Piriye and the secretary Elders Counsel, Ikoro community, Sir. Peter Edunwah, stated that
Ikoro Community land is no longer available for sale to any individual or group of persons or for Businesses.
The Statement therefore warned any person or group of persons who venture into such land business in the community does so at their risk.
The Community says for the Avoidance of legal Embarrassment the general public are advised not to defy the information concerning sale of land in Okoro Community.
