The Chairman of Egor Local Government, Eghe Ogbemudia has joined the list of millions globally to felicitate with the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty Ewuare II, Oba of Benin on the double celebration of his 8th year on the throne of his forefathers and his birthday.
In a Congratulatory message, Eghe Ogbemudia described Oba Ewuare II as the pillar of Benin tradition whose reign on the traditional stool has been associated with peace, tranquility and progress in Benin and beyond.
The Chairman of Egor Local Government Council said identifying with the Benin Monarch on the double celebration is an opportunity to appreciate the Oba for his contribution to nation-building especially in Egor where the Oba is revered.
Eghe Ogbemudia whose message is on behalf of her family and the people of Egor said since Oba Ewuare II ascended the throne of his forebears, Benin has experienced peace. She prayed God.
