The Chief Judge of Edo State, Justice Daniel Okungbowa has constituted a seven-member panel to investigate the allegations contained in the impeachment notice against the State Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu.
A statement signed by Chief Registrar, High Court of Justice Benin City, B. O. Osawaru, says the constitution of the panel was sequel to the resolution of the Edo State House of Assembly on the 19th March, 2024 which was sent to the Chief Judge of Edo State.
The Panel of Seven Persons had Justice S.A. Omonua retired. as Chairman
Professor Theresa Akpoghome, Mr. Oghogho Ayodele Oviasu as – Members.
Others members are, Doctor Andrew Oliha, Mr. Idris Abdulkareen, President Aigbokhian and Mariam Erakhoba Ilavbare.
