The Enogie of Obayanto, His Royal Highness Uyiekpen Akenzua, has clarified that the burial ceremony of his late wife, Her Royal Highness, Roseline Ajayi Akenzua (née Aifesehi), will proceed as originally scheduled on the 30th of January to Second of February, 2025.
In a statement, His Royal Highness Uyiekpen Akenzua urged the media and the public to disregard an earlier announcement by Prince Avan Omosefe Uyi Akenzua, who claimed that the ceremony has been postponed.
The Enogie of Obayanto reiterated that all plans for the burial celebration remain unchanged and called on the public to take note of the correct date.
