Some Civil Society organisations in Lagos State under the ages of Center for Human and Social Economic Rights have called on the Inspector -General of Police, Mr. Kayode Egbetokun to as a matter of urgency curb the abuse of office by some police officers and also investigate the allegations of one Suraju Asimiyu, allegedly detained unlawfully by the Police.

Members of the civil society organisations made the remark during a press briefing in Lagos.
