The Cross River State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Robert Ewa, has passed away.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Nsa Gill, confirmed the sad development, noting that Mr. Ewa died on Wednesday.
Mr. Ewa was reportedly present at the state’s executive council meeting earlier that day, presided over by Governor Bassey Otu. He actively participated in the meeting and contributed to discussions before excusing himself.
The governor received the news of his passing with shock, and according to Mr. Gill, a formal press release will be issued later.
