
Security commanders including the Nigerian Army and police force have launched a coordinated show of force in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state capital. in an effort to keep the peace and reassure the public amid growing concerns about a planned Pro-Wike rally that is set to take place next month.
The calculated action is being taken as the emergency declaration in Rivers State continues to have an impact on neighbouring States in the south-south region of Nigeria.
