The Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Adewunmi Onanuga, is dead.
The lawmaker, who was born on December Two, 1965, passed away on Wednesday, January Fifteen, 2025, after a brief illness.
She was Fifty-nine years old.
Onanuga, until her demise, served as the Deputy Chief Whip of the House, representing the Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency of Ogun State.
In a statement, the Green Chamber expressed sorrow over the sudden passing of the late Deputy Chief Whip who was described as a “passionate advocate”.
