Edo State House of Assembly has reiterated that the State security network, was established according to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended, hence the inspector general of police IGP, Mr Kayode Egbetokun does not have the authority to suspend its activities.
The House majority leader Charity Aiguobarueghain made the clarification against Wednesday’s Ban by the IGP of activities of the State security network ahead September Twenty First Governorship Election in the State.
