The Edo State Chapter of the PDP has demanded the immediate redeployment of the State Police Commissioner, the state’s INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner and immediate unconditional release of party members and supporters arrested on the order of the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun as a condition for signing the Peace Accord.
The party’s leadership during a press briefing in Benin City also queried the haste in arraignment of arrested party members by an Abuja Magistrate Court.
