The Governor Of Edo State Mr Godwin Obaseki has renamed First East Circular Road in Benin City after the late first Catholic Archbishop of Benin Most Reverend Patrick Ebosele Ekpu.

This was contained in his tribute during a funeral mass held in honour of the deceased who died at the age of ninety-two at Holy Cross Cathedral, Mission Road Benin City.
