The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Edo State has fixed Thursday, the twenty-second August, 2024 to Monday, the twenty-sixth of August, 2024 for the collection of Permanent Voter Card, PVC.
In a statement, the Head of Department, Voter Education and Publicity, Timidi Wariowei says the five-day exercise will take place at the various ward headquarters.
Wariowei said the exercise will thereafter move to the INEC Local Government Area offices for another three days from Wednesday, the twenty-eighth August to Friday, the thirtieth August, 2024.
According to the statement, the Commission implores all those who registered or did transfers to present themselves at the ward headquarters and local government offices of INEC and collect their PVCs.
The statement concluded that there is no PVC collection by proxy.
