Elders and youths of Egor community have urged the public to disregard the announcement in the media by the people of Ova Community following a recent High Court judgment over land boundary with Egor community.
In a statement signed by the Enogie of Egor community, His Royal Highness, Aigbehionmwan the Second says the boundary dispute between Egor and Ova communities is pending in the court of Appeal, Benin Division.
According to the statement, Egor community has filed a Notice and Grounds of Appeal challenging the judgement of the High Court.
The Appeal dated, the thirteenth of March, 2024 and a motion of stay of Execution of the said judgment of the High Court.
The Enogie of Egor community advised the public not to engage in any land transaction or business in any form with the people of Ova Community pending an appeal currently before the Appeal court.
