Inhabitants of the Ikpeshi community in Akoko Edo Local Government Area, Edo State, on Tuesday staged a protest to Edo State Government House, Benin City, to register their dissatisfaction over the alleged illegal appointment of Lukman Odamah as Traditional Head of the community by the previous administration.
The protesters claim rightful kingship belongs to Alhaji Nicholas Odamah, elder brother of the late Alhaji Momodu Odamah, and not his nephew, Lukman Odamah.
