Eleven councillors of the Ovia North East Legislative Arm, Edo State, have impeached and suspended the Leader of the House, Omoruyi Igbinake (Oluku Ward), and Ahmed Asemota (Utoka Ward) for alleged misconduct.
The decision followed a sitting on Tuesday, where eleven out of thirteen councillors elected Oluwafemi Uyi (Okhokhuo Ward) as the new Leader of the Legislative Arm.
