Suspended Enigie of Benin Kingdom in Edo South Senatorial District, of Edo State have made Passionate Appeals to His Royal Majesty Omo N’Oba N’Edo Ukuakpolokpolo,Oba Ewuare the Second,to temper Justice with Mercy over their Suspension and forgive them their alleged misdemeanors.
The Enigie in a Statement they personally signed and sent through the Secretary to the Benin Traditional Council, Mr Frank Irhabor said they unequivocally acknowledged that His Royal Majesty,Oba Ewuare the Second is the Defacto Father of all the Enigie in immemorial and consequently every Enogie owes him uncompromised Allegiance particularly under the Bini Native Laws and Customs .
They said having variously received their letters of Suspension they have decided to plead to deny the Four Point allegation in page one of the Letter as non of them took Oath of rebellion against the highly revered Royal Father .
The Suspended Enigie denied taking any oath to refrain from Visiting the Palace of their Father ,His Royal Majesty Omo N’Oba N’Edo Ukuakpolokpolo Oba Ewuare the Second nor swore to any oath to decline Answers to Invitations as well as abstain from Activities of the Palace as well as pay Traditional Homage .
The Suspended Enigie passionately plead that the Oba lifts the Suspension as the Letter in the past Administration was not intended to Balkanize the Benin Kingdom rather to bring Development to the various Local Government Areas in the Place .
The noted that they do not have another Father otheebyjan the Oba of Benin and Pledged to Continue to continue to carry out their Duties as required by the Laws of the Land
