The National Union of Road Transport Workers, Edo State has congratulated the governor-elect, Comrade Monday Okpebholo and the deputy governor-elect, Dennis Idahosa on their victory at the polls and upcoming inauguration as Governor and Deputy Governor of the state.
The Chairman of the NURTW, Edo State branch, Comrade Saturday Oamen in a congratulatory message assured of collaboration of the National Union of Road Transport Workers to move the state forward.
The Union advice commercial drivers in the State to relocate into the various designated parks across the State to ensure sanity on the roads.
The National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Edo State branch said commercial vehicles loading on the road, especially the Kings Square in Benin City, the Edo State capital causes rowdiness.
According to the NURTW, Edo State branch, relocation of commercial vehicles to designated parks will remove obstruction from the major roads and ensure free flow of traffic.
Comrade Oamen said Drivers are matured people and therefore should behave maturely to avoid embarrassment or intimidation from any quarters.
