The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has been honoured with the Kingdom Citizens Award by the Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church worldwide for his fight against corruption and advocacy for good governance in the state.

The presentation of the award is part of activities for the centenary anniversary of the church holding in Benin City.
