The rich Benin culture and tradition was on display on Thursday at the House of Igbinedion as the patriarch and Esama of Benin, His Excellency, Sir, Chief, Dr. Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion gave out his granddaughter’s hand, Etiosa Evisa Igbinedion out in marriage to Ian Samuel Jacquet from the United Kingdom.
The marriage ceremony according to the Benin native law and custom was graced by several dignitaries from within and outside the country.
Ikponmwosa Ugiagbe reports that Evisa is the daughter of Peter Igbinedion.
