A former Governor of Akwa-Ibom State and Elder Statesman, Architect, Obong Victor Attah has rejoiced with the Esama of Benin, Sir, Chief, Doctor Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedíon on his Ninetieth birthday.

In a congratulatory message, Obong Attah extolled Sir, Chief, Doctor Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedíon as a gift to humanity and a bridge builder.

The Elder Statesman pointed out that the contributions of the Esama of Benin to education in Nigeria deserve a special mention, especially for establishing the first private university, Igbinedíon University Okada.

Obong Attah stated that the accomplishments of the celebrant in health, broadcasting, aviation, automotive, agriculture, manufacturing, Oil and Gas deserve commendation.

The former Governor of Akwa-Ibom State, Obong Attah showered encomiums on the Esama of Benin for his humanitarian disposition, citing the historic role he played in securing the release of the great Freedom fighter, late South African President, Doctor Nelson Mandela from the jaws of apartheid.
