President Bola Tinubu has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Ewuare the Second, Oba of Benin on his birthday come Twentieth of October, 2024 which also coincides with the eighth anniversary of the Oba’s ascension to the throne of his ancestors.
A statement by the Special Adviser to the President (Information and Strategy), Bayo Onanuga on Saturday says since the coronation of the Fortieth Oba of Benin in 2016, his kingship had heralded a new era of peace, understanding, and civility among the people.
According to the statement, President Tinubu believes that Oba Ewuare’s illustrious career in diplomacy has influenced his leadership style and reassured the people of his ability to lead with wisdom and grace.
President Tinubu extolled the Oba’s courage and unwavering commitment to preserving his domain’s rich cultural heritage and tradition.
