More congratulatory messages have continued to pour in for the Esama of Benin Sir Chief Dr Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion on the occasion of his 90th Birthday celebration.
The latest is from a former Head of State and ex-president of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.
In a message of felicitation, Chief Obasanjo described the Esama of Benin and Honorary Romanian Consul to Edo and Delta States of Nigeria as an accomplished son of this great country Nigeria, a Pathfinder who pioneered a paradigm shift in Nigeria’s industrial sector in the late 1960 and 1970 and later established business partnership with companies in Japan, Europe and America.
He said for close to five decades, his bosom friend, chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion Who is revered Traditional chief in Benin has a penchant for breaking New ground as he introduced recognisable brand names like Yamaha of Japan, founded the largest private Airline in Africa known as Okada Air and founded Nigeria’s Premier Private University Igbinedion University, Okada.
Chief Obasanjo offered prayers for the House of Igbinedion and the patriarch, Sir, Chief Dr Gabriel Osawru Igbinedion.
