The Governor of Edo State, Mr Godwin Obaseki has described the first indigenous Catholic Bishop of the Benin City Diocese who also ranks as the oldest Bishop in Nigeria, the late Archbishop Patrick Ebosele Ekpu as a bridge builder who will be greatly missed for his work in God’s vineyard.

Governor Obaseki made the remark during a condolence visit to the Catholic Archbishop of Benin, His Grace, Most Reverend Augustine Obiora Akubeze.
