The Governor of Edo State, Mr Godwin Obaseki has assured that the proposed Igarra Campus of the Edo State Polytechnic, School of Mining and Management, an affiliate of the State Polytechnic, Usen will produce the needed manpower in Nigeria’s extractive industry and leverage on existing partnership with two Chinese Polytechnics to bring in the needed expertise to train students in mining and allied sectors.

He made the remark shortly after performing the groundbreaking of the Campus in Igarra, the administrative headquarters of Akoko Edo local government area.
