The Governor Of Edo State Mr Godwin Obaseki has named the Edo State Education Hub in Iyaro, Oredo Local Government Area built by his administration after a one-time commissioner for Education in the then Bendel State Chief Tayo Akpata.

This was at the inauguration of the Education Hub performed by the Governor Of Enugu State Dr. Peter Mbah which featured the induction of some outstanding Teachers into the Edo State Teachers Hall of Fame.
