The Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has accused the suspended 18 Local Government Council Chairmen of diverting approximately twelve billion naira over the past fifteen months.
Governor Okpebholo made this revelation during a meeting with the newly appointed acting Chairmen, their Deputies, and Heads of Local Government Administrations (HOLGA). He urged them to exercise their full authority as local government chairmen while ensuring they operate within the provisions of the law.
