The coalition of host communities of the headquarters of Benin-Owena River Basin Development Authority has suspended its twenty-one-day warning protest to demand the appointment of someone of Benin extraction from the host communities into the position of Managing Director in the Authority.
The protest, which lasted over three weeks, was aimed at ending alleged marginalisation of host communities and the Binis over forty-three years.
