Residents of Ikpoba slope and environs in Benin City have called on Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki to fulfil his promise to dredge Ikpoba River in order to control flooding in the area.

Jonah Omorowa who visited the area reports that the residents are apprehensive that they may be affected by flood if urgent action is not taken to control the ecological menace.
