Some Motorists and Traders in Benin City have appealed to Edo State Government to come to their aid over what they described as financial extortion and illegal issuance of tickets by unauthorised persons.

The Motorists and Traders alleged that despite announcement by the government placing a ban on the collection of revenue by unauthorised persons, they are constantly faced with multiple levies.
