Edo-Born Afrobeat Artiste Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema has performed the foundation stone laying for the proposed Six thousand capacity seater Edo event centre and conference hall known as the Dome.

The proposed events centre is located at the former Garrick Memorial Secondary School premises on Ekenwan Road, Benin City acquired by the state government five years ago.
