Lagos House of Assembly Speaker Mojisola Meranda has resigned her position as the Speaker of the House, paving the way for the removed speaker Mudashiru Obasa to return as the Speaker of the House.

Lagos State Correspondent Aigboje Ikhuoria reports that Meranda said her resignation is due to obedience to the party’s decision.
