The Benin Royal family has expressed displeasure over dragging His Royal Majesty, Ewuare the Second, Oba of Benin to court by Professor . Gregory Akenzua and as such decided to suspend him from the Royal Family.

The pronouncement was made during a press conference held at the Edo NUJ Secretariat in Benin City.
