The governor of Ondo State Lucky Aiyedatiwa has been declared the winner of the APC ward primary and the candidate of the party in the coming governorship election in the state
Governor Aiyedatiwa amassed a total of forty eight thousand five hundred and sixty nine votes in the primaries while fellow contender, Mayowa Akinfolarin, polled fifteen thousand, three hundred forty three votes, with Olusola Oke coming in third position with fourteen thousand eight hundred and sixty five votes.
He was declared the winner by the Chairman of the Governorship Primary Election Committee and Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Ododo, in the early hours of Monday.
Meanwhile, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa wants his opponents in the Ondo State All Progressives Congress governorship primary election to work with him.
He is also thanking President Bola Tinubu for his leadership of the party.
