The member representing Esan West Constituency, Edo State House of Assembly, Mr Jonathan Ibhamawu has on behalf of his family and constituents felicitated with His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo on his inauguration as the Sixth Executive Governor of Edo State and Mr. Dennis Idahosa as Deputy Governor.
In a Special Congratulatory Message, Mr. Ibhamawu expressed optimism that Governor Monday Okpebholo, being a grassroots politician will bring to bear in his administration the task of a New Edo State rising through exploration and judicious utilisation of untapped human and natural and human resources the state are endowed with.
The State Legislator urged Governor Okpebholo and his team to hit the ground running by ensuring the delivery of dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of Edo State People.
Mr. Ibhamawu advised the new administration to take a holistic review of Critical problems and challenges confronting the state with a view to addressing such.
While pointing out that government is continuum, Mr. Ibhamawu urged Governor Okpebholo to consolidate on the achievements of his predecessor through completion of projects initiated by the immediate past administration.
The State Legislator prayed God to grant Governor Okpebholo excellent health, divine wisdom and administrative acumen to succeed in the enormous task ahead.
