The Federal Government has announced its commitment to strengthening partnerships with global lessors and financiers to bolster the growth of Nigeria’s domestic airline industry and facilitate fleet renewal.
Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, disclosed this during a media briefing on Thursday. He emphasized the government’s readiness to enhance stakeholder engagement and prioritize the development of a globally competitive, inclusive, and resilient aviation ecosystem.
Keyamo revealed plans to lead a delegation from Nigeria’s aviation sector to the upcoming “Boeing Lessor Forum” in Dublin, Ireland, as part of efforts to realize these objectives. The minister highlighted the importance of these international partnerships in ensuring the sustained growth and modernization of the country’s aviation sector.
