The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mojisola Lasbat Meranda, announced new principal officers during her first plenary session, which held on Friday.
The appointment came after the dissolution of the subsisting principal officers by the new speaker.
Members of the selection committee were also appointed.
The committee includes the Speaker of the House as the chairman of the committee, Deputy Speaker, majority, chief whip, Hon Yishawu, Hon Aina Musbau, Acting Clerk as secretary of the committee.
Rt. Hon. Meranda assumed the speakership position on Monday following the impeachment of the erstwhile Speaker, Hon Mudashiru Obasa by the House.
The House adjourned to Tuesday, 21 January, 2025.
