Wife of the Rivers State Governor, Lady Valerie Siminalayi Fubara, has extended goodwill and support to New Year babies born on First of January,2025, and their mothers at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH), and Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH) as part of activities to celebrate the New Year.
The Rivers State Governor’s wife, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation, Prof Justina Jumbo, during a New Year visit to UPTH, said the gesture was to identify with the babies and their mothers, and show them love
Shortly after visiting the New Year baby, Little Miss Jaja and other babies at UPTH, Lady Fubara thanked God for the safe delivery of the baby, and assured that the administration of Governor Siminalayi Fubara will continue to support the vulnerable and less privileged in the society.
The wife of the Governor also visited the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH) where she donated some items to the first New Year baby at the hospital, Miss Godswill Vanessa Accra-Jaja, and four others, including several other babies delivered recently.
