The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, has named the Ikeja Cantonment in Lagos State after the immediate past Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja.
The naming ceremony, which was attended by the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, and other senior officers of the Nigerian military and government functionaries, was done at the remodeled Ikeja Cantonment gate built in honor of the former Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja.
