Edo State Chapter of the Nigerian Optometric Association on Saturday held a press briefing in Benin City to outline activities for the forthcoming World Glaucoma Week, scheduled from 8th to 16th of March, 2025.
The annual global event, which aims to raise awareness about glaucoma, a major cause of irreversible blindness worldwide, had in attendance Edo State NOA key stakeholders, optometrists, health practitioners, and academicians.
