The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has tendered an apology over his recent attacks on the Federal High Court and Justice Binta Nyako.
Through his new counsel, Kanu Agabi, SAN, the IPOB leader apologised to the Federal Government’s lawyer, Adegboyega Awomolo, SAN.
Agabi also apologised to his team of lawyers earlier led by Aloy Ejimakor for attacking Justice Binta Nyako.
Agabi tendered the apology on Kanu’s behalf on Friday before Justice James Omotosho, the new trial judge, stating that the attack on Justice Binta Nyako was unjustified and apologized to his team whom he attacked verbally.
While accepting the apology, the prosecution added that they would do their best to ensure an expeditious hearing of the case.
