The National Youth leader of the New Nigerian People’s Party, Auwal Musa, has described the EFCC investigation on the former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, as a political witch-hunt.
He told newsmen in Kaduna that the action was instigated by some political rivals to tarnish Kwankwaso’s image.
He challenged the EFCC to come out with facts on the allegations, otherwise, will consider the anti-graft moves as an attempt to witch-hunt and victimise him.
The leader further argued that there was no justification for EFCC to commence investigation of Kwankwaso from 2015 to 2023 as a former Governor and leader of NNPP.
According to him, investigating Kwankwaso will only amount to a waste of time.
